President

Officer Oleta Davis has been serving Iowa since graduating the Cedar Rapids Regional Law Enforcement Academy in 2010.  She is a certified Field Training Officer, Peer Support Officer, and co-facilitates Student Practicum in Policing for the University of Iowa.   Officer Davis has been working with other first responder organizations and lobbyists to help improve public safety through legislative initiatives in Iowa, and currently serves as the President of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #6.  She has her B.S. in Health and Human Performance and an M.S. in Criminal Justice.

Tim Yoder is graduate of Iowa State University. He started his law enforcement career as a Reserve Deputy. In 2019 he attended the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. He has served as an Emergency Medical Technician, Field Training Officer.

He is currently a general crimes investigator, ALERRT CRASE and Active Attack Integrated Response instructor.

He currently is the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #9 Vice President.  He transitioned to the role of Secretary in late 2024 after serving as the Sergeant at Arms since early 2022.

I started law enforcement in 2001 for my current department. I have worked in Uniform Patrol and the Community Affairs Unit. I am also a member of our Honor Guard and Peer Support team and I am a Field Training Officer.

I look forward to serving the members of the Iowa State Fraternal Order of Police.

Nick Brokaw

Nick Brokaw has been serving Iowa since he began his law enforcement career as a reserve officer in 2010, later graduating the Cedar Rapids Regional Law Enforcement Academy that same year.  Nick has served in various sized communities, from large college cities to rural Iowa. Throughout his career, Nick has served as an FTO, Sergeant, Interim Lieutenant, Assistant Chief, and Interim Chief. Nick is an instructor in multiple areas of law enforcement. Nick is a member of the Joint County Emergency Response Team.

Nick is graduate of Northwest University's Center for Public Service Supervision of Police Personnel program. The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Regional Command College, and FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association's trilogy program. 

Nick currently serves on the Iowa FOP Legislation Committee and several other local community organizations.

Donald Strong started in law enforcement in 2001 as a reserve officer and has served in many roles including FTO, General Reserve Officer Instructor, BLS Instructor, CIT Instructor, Honor Guard Commander, Corporal, Sergeant and Chief of Police. Donald joined the FOP in 2015 and later took a more active role as Lodge 6 Vice President in 2018. After the Iowa State Lodge was formed in 2019, Donald was appointed as the Iowa National Trustee. In this role Donald serves as a liaison between the State Lodge and the Grand Lodge. Donald is tasked with keeping the state lodge president informed on national FOP issues and keeping members up to date with important information. Probably one of Donald’s most important role is recruiter. Donald assists lodges with recruitment and starting new lodges. Donald is married to Megan and has been for 19 years. Donald has two children, Lauren and Marcus. Donald enjoys spending time with his family, his two Rottweilers, Zeus and Xena and being an active part of the FOP.

Jordan Gallagher

Jordan Gallagher began his law enforcement career in 2010 when he was hired by a Sheriff's Office where he obtained his state certification and worked in the jail for two years. After Jordan's wife graduated college, the two moved home when he was hired by a local police department where he spent 10 years on patrol. In that time, Jordan served on the honor guard, became a certified DRE, was a K9 handler, trained new hires as an FTO, and was a shield operator for the department's SRT.

In 2022, Jordan was hired by a new department where he prides himself as a leader in roles like defensive tactics instructor, ALICE instructor, ALERRT instructor, ICAT instructor, Detective, and PIO.

Jordan is currently the Chairman of Trustees for the Iowa State FOP board. This is his 4th year on the board.
