Nick Brokaw has been serving Iowa since he began his law enforcement career as a reserve officer in 2010, later graduating from the Cedar Rapids Regional Law Enforcement Academy that same year. Nick has served in various-sized communities, from large college cities to rural Iowa. Throughout his career, Nick has served as an FTO, Sergeant, Interim Lieutenant, Assistant Chief, and Interim Chief. Nick is an instructor in multiple areas of law enforcement. Nick is a member of the Joint County Emergency Response Team.
Nick is a graduate of Northwest University's Center for Public Service Supervision of Police Personnel program. The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Regional Command College, and the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association's trilogy program.
